OpenCon Ohio 2024 Registration Now Open

OpenCon Ohio is an annual event that celebrates the benefits of open education to student learning.  The virtual OpenCon Ohio 2024 conference will be FREE, and Registration is now open.  Live sessions and interactive conversations will take place via Zoom on Friday May 17, and prerecorded lightning talks will be made available for viewing May 13-17, 2024.  Also during this time, asynchronous conversations between lightning talk presenters and participants will be held on the conference Discord platform.
The OpenCon Ohio 2024 live Friday May 17 keynote speakers will be:
* Elizabeth Robertson Hornsby, who will address Strategic Synergy: Open Education, AI, and the Imperative for Innovating Opportunities
* Liza Long, who will address Brave New Worlds: Teaching, Writing, and Creating with Generative Artificial Intelligence
Other live Friday May 17 sessions include a one-hour panel discussion on automatic textbook billing and a 45-minute birds of a feather event.
