RNC Related Events at C|M|Law

Cybersecurity symbolismContinuing the convention theme in advance of next week’s spectacle, here are two upcoming events at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

First, C|M|Law is hosting a forum on Cybersecurity and Privacy Law. This bipartisan educational event will take place on July 19, 2016 at 12:30pm-6:30pm in the Moot Coot Room, and is cosponsored by Baldwin Wallace University. The forum consists of two panels that will discuss cyberwarfare and national security, and cybersecurity law and policy. The Library has numerous books and e-resources on the topic available. For example, Inside Cyber Warfare and Cybercrime and Cyberwarfare. And check out our Cyberlaw Research Guide .

The other event hosted in the C|M|Law Atrium is the Conservative Thought and Environmental Sustainability Forum, on Wednesday, July  20, 2016 at 12:00pm-4:00pm. This forum features national and local business leaders, policymakers, and others, discussing the benefits of environmentally sustainable business practices.

Law Library Hours for RNC

During the days of the RNC (Monday July 18-Thursday July 21), we will be closed to the general public.  Exceptions are for Cleveland State University affiliates and attorneys with bar membership cards.
Access to the library will require everyone to enter the building through the College of Law or the Inner Link. Card swipe access into the library will be available for all university affiliates Monday through Thursday, 7am to 8pm. During the RNC events being sponsored by or held in the College of Law building, the library will be open to event participants with the proper credentials.

We will be observing our exam period hours on the days before and after the convention:

Thursday, July 14, 2016: 7 AM – Midnight
Friday, July 15, 2016: 7 AM – 5 PM
Saturday, July 16, 2016: 9 AM – 5 PM
Sunday, July 17, 2016: 10 AM – 6 PM
Friday, July 22, 2016: 7 AM – 5 PM
Saturday, July 23, 2016: 9 AM – 5 PM
Sunday, July 24, 2016: 10 AM – 6 PM
