Lexis+ AI Coming To Your Law School Lexis Account in April

Yesterday, Jennifer Durkin, CSU LAW’s Lexis Representative, held a preview session for a group of 1Ls on Lexis+ AI, a generative AI tool coming to student accounts in April.

While Lexis has had several extractive AI products already available to law school accounts, such as Lexis Answers and Document Analysis, Lexis+ AI will be a generative AI tool that can help you conduct legal research, summarize documents, and draft memos, emails and more. At this point, the upload feature in Lexis+ AI will be available only to law firm subscribers.

CSU LAW students will be seeing Lexis+ AI as an option under the product switcher (top left when logged into Lexis+) starting April 10th or 11th. You can read more about it here.

Like any AI tool, it is a good practice to discuss its use with your professors first before using it for any class assignments.
