image of black hands surrounding the word JusticeSocial justice seminars, programs, and activities in the greater Cleveland area, Ohio, and nationally are featured on the C|M|Law Library Social Justice and Antiracism Resources guide Events/Forums/Webinars page.  Upcoming local Spring 2022 events include the 3/15 Discussing the Renaming of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, sponsored by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA).  The CMBA is also sponsoring the Zoning is a Racial Justice Issue series – Part 1: Historical Breakdown on 3/31; Part 2: Current Developments on 4/26; and Part 3: What Happens Next on 6/7.  All of these CMBA programs are virtual and free for law students.  Upcoming national Spring 2022 events include the 3/18 Why Diversifying the Healthcare Workforce Matters free virtual seminar sponsored by the Center for the Study of Racism, Social Justice & Health.  The 3/28 New York City’s Wounded Healers free webinar, sponsored by the Urban Institute – Justice Policy Center, will examine the “Credible Messenger” programming for justice-involved populations in New York City as well as challenges and best practices for implementing the strategy.  See the Social Justice and Antiracism Resources guide for more information on upcoming social justice events and activities.
