Image of laptop and notepadWe have a great mix of programs for C|M|Law students in the Law Library’s Research Certificate Seminars this Spring 2013 Semester!  Shorter programs to get you back up to speed on the major research platforms, in-depth topical research sessions, as well as practical research methods and tips particularly useful for a variety of summer work experiences.  See the complete Seminar program list below.  To register for a Seminar, students should contact Laura Ray, Instructional Services Librarian, 216-687-6880, laura.ray@law.csuohio.edu.

**Please note that the “Getting Ready to Clerk” Seminar will address typical law firm experiences and research assignments, not how to find a job.

Seminar attendance is limited to 20 students, so make your reservations as soon as possible.  An hour-long Seminar earns 25 points, and an half-hour Seminar earns 12.5 points.  Seminar points carry over semester to semester until a student graduates.  Each student who earns 100 Seminar points is awarded a Law Library Research Certificate.

Research Certificate Seminars discuss research materials and resources critical to successful legal practice and scholarly writing, as well as focus on research skills law firms and courts are seeking when hiring associates and clerks.  Presented by our team of research librarians, the Seminars offer a unique forum for students to learn more about specific research topics.
