Carr [oral arguments from Oyez and full text from FindLaw] established the one-person/one-vote principle and influenced how legislative districts are drawn. Symposium speakers will address issues relating to the ruling, including voting rights and redistricting. Professor Candice Hoke will speak in a panel on the topic “Districting and Apportionment Dispute: The Political Question Doctrine as Applied to Election Disputes, Including Bush v. Gore.” Six CLE credits are available for the Symposium.
