It is open to faculty, staff, and students. Light refreshments will be provided and there will be an opportunity to win door prizes. Refworks is a web-based research management and writing software package available for free for CSU students and faculty. Refworks enables you to organize your research and create bibliographies and footnotes in Bluebook Law Review format once you have created a database of references.
While references can be automatically created from some databases, such as LexisNexis Academic, Refworks can not automatically create references for documents from LexisNexis or Westlaw. You can manually add references from LexisNexis and Westlaw. Refworks is similar to Zotero, a free Firefox add-on. Refworks does not have the screen capture feature that Zotero has to create snapshots of webpages. For more information on Refworks, see the Law Library’s Quick Guide to Refworks.
