Inserting Real-Time WebSites into Powerpoint
Tired of clicking back and forth from your Power Point in order to demo a web site? You can actually insert the web site into your Power Point instead and demo it directly in the presentation. The only drawback is it takes the web site a second to load up in your presentation. Note that if you click outside the big box in the border area it takes you to the next slide in the presentation.
Inserting a live web site can be done by downloading the LiveWeb add-on to Microsoft Powerpoint. This article has instructions as well as links to downloads for PowerPoint 97-2003 users and PowerPoint 2007 users. Once you download LiveWeb, click on the LiveWeb icon on your desktop. It will open up Power Point, and you should get a message asking you if you want to enable macros, which you do. (If it does not ask this, which may happen in Power Point 2003, go to Tools>Macros>Security and set to Medium.) Then, click on Insert>Web Page and enter the url.
