FDA Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee Open Access Meetings

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee “reviews and evaluates data concerning the safety, effectiveness, and appropriate use of vaccines and related biological products which are intended for use in the prevention, treatment, or diagnosis of human diseases….”  The Advisory Committee website includes a list of its past and upcoming meetings.  Each meeting has accompanying materials, and many meetings are open access.  The 12/10/2020 meeting will be on Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19 in individuals 16 years of age and older.  The 12/17/2020 meeting will be on EUA of the Moderna, Inc., COVID-19 Vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19 in individuals 18 years of age and older.  Both of these upcoming Advisory Committee meetings are open access, so you are free to connect and get the latest info on the EUA of COVID-19 vaccines.
