8/19/2020 “One Community Reads” Social Justice Event

The Cuyahoga County Public Library is conducting the free online broadcast A Conversation with Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi 7pm-8pm, Wednesday 8/19/2020.  Reynolds and Kendi will discuss their bestselling book Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You.  Jason Reynolds writes novels and poetry for young adult and middle-grade audiences, and is a New York Times Bestselling author of several books.  Ibram X. Kendi is the Andrew W. Mellon Professor in the Humanities, Professor of History, and Director of the Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University, as well as a New York Times bestselling author and the winner of the 2016 National Book Award for Nonfiction.  The 8/19/2020 free online broadcast is part of the One Community Reads series sponsored by nine area public library systems and the City Club of Cleveland.  Register here.
