Westlaw Changes Coming

Westlaw will be changing its platform beginning January 2019. Westlaw Edge (YouTube video introducing the product) will contain the same information as before with some added bells and whistles. The layout will look slightly different, but everything is still there (plus more!). You will notice improvements in Westlaw’s AI technology and a new keycite symbol, “overruling risk” (when a point of law in a case has been implicitly undermined based on its reliance on an overruled or otherwise invalid prior decision), among other features. Our Westlaw rep Sam Berbano will have a training session this fall for faculty and staff.
