“The Other Guys”: The Other Databases and Services You Have Access To

We all are pretty familiar with the Westlaw, Lexis and Bloomberg databases when doing legal research, but what about other resources?  The law library is promoting what we are calling “The Other Guys”—i.e. those other databases besides Westlaw, Lexis and Bloomberg, that all students and faculty have access to.  The law library will be promoting several this semester.  The promotions will include demonstrations of the databases, tips and tricks via our blog, and a monthly contest (September, October, and November).

Here is the schedule of databases and services we will be highlighting:

  • HeinOnline
  • CALI
  • Gale Supreme Court Records and Briefs

We start demonstrations of HeinOnline the week of September 12th in the library computer lab from 11am-1pm Monday-Thursday.
