Administrative Law Research Research Certificate Seminar Today in Library

The Administrative Law Research Research Certificate Seminar is today, Wednesday, November 4th -4:50pm-5:50pm in Law Library Room A059.  Students who attend this Seminar will earn 25 points toward a Law Library Research Certificate.

We’ll show you how to find regulations, administrative decisions, and agency guidance, as well as how to track pending regulations.  In addition to your laptop or iPad, bring your Bloomberg, Lexis, and Westlaw passwords to get the most out of the discussion.

Here are key points about the Law Library Research Certificate Seminars this Fall 2015 semester:

  • You do not need to register in order to take a Seminar –  simply come to the Seminar(s) you want to attend.  We will take attendance at each Seminar, to be sure you are credited points as you earn them.
  • We are offering several 30-minute, very focused Seminars, in addition to 60-minute, in-depth Seminars.  Hands-on exercises continue to be important features of our Seminars, so bring your laptop or iPad to get the most out of our discussion.
  • You earn 12.5 points for attending a 30-minute Seminar, and 25 points for attending a 60-minute Seminar.  [You cannot earn points for attending (in-person or online) the same Seminar twice.]  Your Seminar points are good for the entire time you are here at C|M|Law.  When you earn 100 points, you are awarded a Law Library Research Certificate, and you can earn multiple Certificates.
  • If you earn a Certificate within the 2015-2016 academic year, you will be entered into a drawing for a $150 Amazon gift card!
