Fall 2014 Library Research Certificate Seminars
This Fall 2014 semester, the Law Library has a great line-up of nine Research Certificate Seminars for C|M|LAW students, a couple new ways for you to take a Seminar, and a special prize opportunity.
- You no longer need to register in order to take a Seminar – simply come to the Seminar(s) you want to attend. We will take attendance at each Seminar, to be sure you are credited points as you earn them.
- We are offering several 20-minute, very focused Seminars, in addition to 60-minute, in-depth Seminars. Hands-on exercises will continue to be important features of our Seminars, so bring your laptop or iPad to get the most out of our discussion.
- You earn 10 points for attending a 20-minute Seminar, and 25 points for attending a 60-minute Seminar. Your Seminar points are good for the entire time you are here at C|M|Law. When you earn 100 points, you will be awarded a Law Library Research Certificate.
- If you earn a Certificate within the 2014-2015 academic year, you will be entered into a drawing for a $150 Amazon gift card!
Each of the Research Certificate Seminars will take place on Wednesdays, in Room A059 in the Law Library.
