Citation Help: Copy with Reference in WestlawNext
One easy way to construct a citation for a document you’re writing, whether it’s a brief or a seminar paper, is to use the Copy with Reference tool in WestlawNext.
If you’re in a case, for example, just highlight the portion of the text you want to cite, and choose Copy with Reference. You can then choose from a drop-down menu of citation styles, including Standard, ALWD, and Ohio. Next, open your word processing program, and hit paste. You’ll see the text you highlighted, along with its citation in the style you specified.
