Ohio Legal Research Class – Earn Research Certificate Seminar Points

Woman researching on laptopC|M| Law students, remember the Ohio Legal Research Distance Learning TWEN-based class offered Spring Semester 2010?  The class has just been made available this Summer Semester, and students who successfully complete it can earn up to 50 points toward a Law Library Research Certificate.

Class units are:  1. Secondary Sources, 2. Statutes, 3. Administrative Code and 4. Case Law and Administrative Decisions.  Each unit has a quiz.  Some questions test whether one has viewed unit materials, and others are short research questions.  The entire class will take approximately 2 hours, and does not have to be completed in one sitting.  You can earn 25 Research Certificate points by successfully completing units 1 & 2, and another 25 points by successfully completing units 3 &4.  The class quizzes must by completed by 11:59pm Wednesday, July 14th.
