Bluebook Blues
If the Bluebook gives you pause, consider these two ways to go forward:
- Schedule a research consultation with a law librarian to discuss general Bluebook formats and rules. We can’t Bluebook your paper for you, but we can help you get a better grasp on legal citation.
- Try one of our four Legal Research Seminar tutorials on the Bluebook. We have short videos on citing to basic sources, online sources, foreign sources, and Bluebooking for seminar papers and notes.
- Check out our research guide Bluebooking and Legal Writing Software. Here you’ll find tips on cutting and pasting snippets with proper citation, and uploading and checking format. There’s also a section on creating a table of authorities.
