EngagedScholarship @ CSU Surpasses 6,000,000 Downloads

We are excited to announce that EngagedScholarship @ CSU (ES @ CSU), the University’s digital showcase of scholarly and creative works, has surpassed 6,000,000 downloads! Since it launched in 2012, our open access repository and publishing platform has posted or published more than 21,000 items across 828 disciplines and been read by more than 84,000 institutions.

These items include journal articles, open educational resources, ebooks, peer-reviewed journals, images, and audio recordings representing all CSU colleges and a variety of departments.

The CSU|LAW section of the repository accounts for nearly half of all CSU downloads. In addition to faculty scholarship and student journals, the repository houses historic school publications such as The Gavel, Law Notes, and law school Bulletins. It also contains special collections such as The Sam Sheppard Case and Terry v. Ohio, the landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision that deemed “stop and frisk” unconstitutional.

If you would like to include your research or other scholarly content, publish an open educational resource, or create a new open access journal, email an ES @ CSU administrator at library.es@csuohio.edu.
