Nolo Books, Research Guides, and More: Resources for the Public
The Law Library is open to the public—see our hours page for more information. Reference librarians are available to help public patrons navigate our online and print resources, although we cannot give legal advice or do research for you.
We have several resources that are particularly useful for our public patrons—check out our Free Electronic Legal Research guide, as well as our guide on Where to Go for Legal Advice in Cleveland.
In the library we have two public workstations where public patrons can use Westlaw Patron Access, a version of Westlaw that includes most, but not all, materials found on the Westlaw database used by our law school students and faculty. You must be in the library to use Westlaw Patron Access.
Finally, we have a number of titles available from Nolo Press, a long-standing publisher of easy-to-use practical books on many everyday legal topics. Some of the Nolo books from our collection include:
- Law Forms for Personal Use [Find it]
- Legal Forms for Starting and Running a Small Business [Find it]
- Make Your Own Living Trust [Find it]
- Long-Term Care: How to Plan and Pay for It [Find it]
- Nolo’s Essential Guide to Divorce [Find it]
- Leases & Rental Agreements [Find it]
- Nolo’s Essential Guide to Child Custody & Support [Find it]
- Special Needs Trusts: Protect Your Child’s Financial Future [Find it]
