Schedule a Research Consultation for Help With Your Seminar Paper or Note

If you’re working on a seminar paper or note this semester, you know have a lot of research and writing ahead of you. Give yourself a leg up by meeting with a law librarian to discuss your research. We can help you with selecting a topic, introduce you to databases or other materials you’ve never used before, and act as a general sounding board for your paper idea.

How it works – you schedule with us (we can meet in person or online) and tell us a bit about your topic and what you’ve done so far. We prepare to meet with you, and compile any tips, suggestions, or new sources that we think may help you. Then we meet and discuss your paper or note research. Hopefully you come away from the experience some new ideas for research.

Reach out to us any time to schedule a research consultation. Research consultations are generally around 30-60 minutes long, depending on the topic. Follow-up consultations are also welcome.
