Prioritizing Your Mental Health: This Wed. 2/26, 12-1pm Room LB 237 (lunch provided)
This Wednesday, February 26th from 12-1pm in Room LB 237, Matt Besser, the President of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, will be at the College of Law to speak to students about the importance of mental health in the legal profession.
For too long the legal profession has neglected the mental health of legal professionals. This year, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association is prioritizing the mental health of our profession by focusing on normalization and by lowering the barriers that too often stand in the way of lawyers taking care of themselves. As part of that effort, the CMBA is working to educate law students about how to protect their own wellbeing and achieve real work-life balance as they enter the practice.
Lunch will be provided.
1Ls – IN PERSON ATTENDANCE to this counts as one of your required professional development activities!
For JDO students, this will be livestreamed (but not recorded). Zoom link emailed on 2/20.
We hope to see you there!
