Law School Mental Health Tips from ABA Before the Bar

The Law Student Division of the ABA has recently posted a great article on top tips for law students. Some things to consider from the article as you move into the second half of the fall semester at C|M|LAW –

  • Set a schedule that’s doable and includes time for family and exercise.
  • Draw your boundaries and stick to them. Keep drama away!
  • Don’t compare yourself to others. You are you and you are awesome exactly the way you are.
  • Avoid the bad stuff – excessive caffeine, sugar, alcohol, and energy drinks. If it brings your body down, it’ll bring your mind down too.

The Library’s Mental Health and Well-Being resource guide gives you plenty of ideas for yoga and meditation videos, catalog links to our wellness book collection, and research and stats on law students and mental health.
