Finding Ohio Agency Decisions

Ohio Attorney generalAgency decisions – also called “quasi-judicial actions” – can be tricky to find. While Ohio’s Administrative Procedure Act, ORC Ch. 119 provides for the enforcement of regulations through quasi-judicial action, this doesn’t mean that all (or even most) Ohio agency decisions are published or readily available. Our Ohio Primary Law Research Guide helps you figure out where you might find some of these decisions, and from what time period. Some are freely available on the web, but with limited dates. Others may be available through databases like Lexis or Westlaw, or through services like Ohio Capitol Connection. Ohio Attorney General decisions are some of the easiest to find, while other agencies may require more research.
