Westlaw’s Foundations of Legal Research for C|M|LAW Students

Our Westlaw rep Holly Rush has set up a class on Foundations of Legal Research in their Knowledge Center. The first three lessons (4 minutes each) are a terrific reinforcement of what is covered during the first week of classes. The videos are “platform neutral” except for a few references to Westlaw.

These short videos are a great way to learn about the cornerstones of the American Legal System, including how laws are formed, the system’s hierarchy, and the differences in legal authority. Topic areas of the videos are:
