Meet A Treatise: Sowald & Morganstern’s Domestic Relations Law
Domestic Relations Law edited by Beatrice K. Sowald and Stanley Morganstern is Ohio’s leading comprehensive treatise on domestic relations, aka family law. It is also one of those treatises that is often referred to by the names of its authors, so you may hear it called simply “Sowald & Morganstern.” It is available in Westlaw, and in print in the library. It is part of the Baldwin’s Ohio Practice Series, a collection of practitioner-focused secondary sources available on a variety of topics.
Domestic Relations Law covers all topics in family law, including child support, marriage, divorce, spousal support, domestic violence, and more. In it, you will find authoritative background materials on all Ohio family law topics, references to primary law including cases and states, and key forms for practice.
