“Getting Ready to Clerk” Seminar on 4/4/19
Are you working or planning to work this summer? Then the Law Library’s “Getting Ready to Clerk” seminar is a must see! The seminar will take place 4:45pm-5:45pm, Thursday, April 4th, in Law Library Room A059. Join the discussion about the types of projects a clerk should expect, how projects are assigned, and the type of feedback to expect on one’s work, as well as general tips and advice on how to approach one’s work. Speakers will be James Besenyei, Cuyahoga County Office of the Public Defender, Juvenile Division; Julian Emerson, Reminger Co., LPA; and Taurean J. Shattuck, Jones Day. Light refreshments will be provided.
This 60-minute Law Library Legal Research Seminar is for C|M|Law students, including MLS and LLM students, and attendees will earn 25 points. Remember, when you earn 100 “Legal Research Seminar” points, you are awarded a “Law Library Legal Research Letter of Recognition” and a Digital Badge, which you can post to your LinkedIn page. Seminar points are good for the entire time you are here at C|M|Law, and you can earn multiple Letters of Recognition and Digital Badges.
