CSU Research Award Opportunities

The Cleveland State University Office of Research Faculty Research and Development Program (FRD) invests “in basic and applied research that would increase the level of federal and industrial research funding received by the University.”  The Faculty Scholarship Initiative (FSI) “funds faculty conducting quality research, or other creative or scholarly activity, that advances the respective field or discipline.”  The next proposal submission deadline for each of these programs is Thursday, February 1, 2018.  The award period for each of these programs is 12 months, and begins on June 1 following award notification.  For additional information and proposal guidelines, faculty should consult the FRD and FSI websites.  Faculty may also contact Joy Yard, Administrative Coordinator, or Daniel Simon, Associate Vice President for Research, in the CSU Office of Research.
