Jurist is a Great Place for Legal News and Commentary

JURIST is an internet legal news service run by students at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  If you haven’t been to this web page before it’s worth a look.

The content is free and is filled with up-to-date legal news stories from the United States and around the world.  The news stories are archived which makes for a vast repository of news for the legal researcher.  Primary documents such as Presidential memorandums, executive orders and documents related to federal rulemaking are also available.

JURIST also has commentaries from legal experts and law students.  Interested in submitting a commentary for publication?  Submissions to the student commentary part of JURIST’s website can be done via e-mail to studentcommentary@jurist.org.
