HeinOnline’s CFR and Federal Register Libraries

In yesterday’s blog we talked about HeinOnline’s law journal library.  Today we are going to highlight the Federal Register and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) libraries on Hein.  As stated yesterday, Hein is a great place to look for older materials.  In the case of the CFR and Federal Register—the other guys—Westlaw, Bloomberg and Lexis’ coverage goes back only 30 years or so.  With Hein, the CFR coverage starts in 1938 and the Federal Register in 1936. The Federal Register Library also has helpful “other related works” which contains the weekly compilation of Presidential documents from 1965 and the US Government Manual back to 1935.
