Lexis Advance Results Sorting
Have you ever run a “big box” search in Lexis Advance and your results on the left hand side defaults to “dockets”? If so, there is a quick fix:
- To reset this to any category go to the top of the page on the far right and click “More”
- Next click “Settings” from the drop down menu under “More”
- Next click the left side on “Lexis Advanced Research”
- The page that comes up should show, about half way down the page, a listing under “RESULTS” that says “Display search results in this category first” and then you can use the drop down to choose cases or statutes or whatever you prefer.
