Investigation Discovery to Look at Sam Sheppard Case Tomorrow Night

A recent Cleveland.com article highlights the new episode taking a look at the Sam Sheppard Case on Investigative Discovery. The episode will air on Tuesday, December 15^th 2015 at 10pm E.T. The events resulting in the 1954 conviction of Marilyn Sheppard’s husband, Dr. Sam Sheppard, still remain in the public eye and are widely embraced by popular culture. A 1966 U.S. Supreme Court case overturned the initial guilty verdict, and Sheppard was later acquitted during the retrial.

The Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Library has a website dedicated to the nationally known case: The Sam Sheppard Case 1954-2000. The site contains documents and photographs from the criminal and civil litigation resulting from the murder of Marilyn Sheppard on July 4, 1954.
