This Just In: Yoga For Lawyers

If you haven’t already incorporated exercise and relaxation into your exam schedule this semester, consider leafing through Yoga For Lawyers: Mind-Body Techniques to Feel Better All the Time [Find it]. This is a yoga book with its intended audience—overworked and overstressed attorneys—squarely in mind. In the introduction it states that the book “is written by lawyers for lawyers, and explains things in ways that analytical people like, understand, and embrace.” If you’re a yoga guru, you won’t find the poses all that challenging. But if you’re the average stressed-out law student, these exercises and relaxation techniques could be just what you need to help you get through reading and exam period. In addition to explanations of poses and relaxations, you’ll find brief chapters on the science behind stress, basic neuroscience, and mind-body techniques.
