The Editor of Black’s Says: Cut These Words from Your Legal Writing

Bryan Gardner (pictured), editor of Black’s Law Dictionary (among other things), wants your legal writing to be straightforward. In a recent article in the ABA Journal, Gardner decries typical legalese terms such as “know all men by these presents” there are others that may surprise you such as “and/or” and “shall”.
