Databases by Subject: Law and Non-Law

Researching any area of law thoroughly means looking beyond just the usual Lexis or Westlaw. As a CSU student, you have access to a whole array of databases that cover legal specialties as well as inter-disciplinary subjects. For law databases, have a look at our Research Databases guide, which points you toward subject specialties like tax and accounting, securities, legislative history, and labor and employment. Many of these specialty databases are part of HeinOnline or Bloomberg BNA. For non-law databases, have a look at the Research Databases by Subject listing from the Michael Schwartz Library. Some interdisciplinary databases relevant to legal research include political science, health sciences, business, education, and economics.
