Following Instructions: Important in Law School and Life.

A recent blog post from the Law School Academic Support Blog [click here to read the full text] emphasizes the importance of following directions.  This is true on your law school exams, the bar, or when working a project for a partner.  Students have been penalized (and failed) in classes for not following instructions.  It is probably safe to assume that most students who fail to follow instructions and suffer because of this know the subject but just failed to pay attention to instructions.  So slow down, take a deep breath and read those instructions carefully!
