YouTube Isn’t Just for Funny Videos

Many of us have visited YouTube to see funny videos or music.  Did you know that YouTube has a vast number of helpful educational videos as well?

No matter what topic you are interested in you can probably find a YouTube video for it. My personal favorites are some of the many videos on Microsoft Office products.  Forget how to make excel automatically add columns or insert music into a PowerPoint presentation?  You can get a quick refresher on YouTube.

Of course, with anything you’ll need to have confidence in your source, and you need to keep in mind other sources that may be helpful in your information search.  If all else fails you – librarians are always here to help!
