Table of Authorities Now in Westlaw Next
Table of Authorities provides a list of cases cited in your case. Each cited case has a KeyCite flag to show whether it has any negative treatment. It is possible a case cited in your case was overruled and your case may no longer be valid for that proposition of law. The negative treatment of a case relied upon by your case may not be disclosed by simply Keyciting your case. Thus, the Table of Authorities allows you to quickly determine whether you are relying on a case with a hidden weakness.
