Study Break! Take a Free Fitness Class at the Rec
Be kind to your body this exam period – consider an active study break at the Rec. The campus Recreation Center, located a few blocks from the law school at Chester and 24th, offers a wide range of free, drop-in fitness sessions called Group X Classes. Most classes are 45 minutes.
- TRX – Work on improving muscle size, muscle tone, and balance while stretching your core with the TRX. This class uses the TRX suspension training to give you an intense total body workout using only your body weight.
- CSU90x Plyo – A class that incorporates power and agility drills; perfect for participants looking to improve their speed and coordination through high impact plyometric exercises.
- Total Toning – Look for this class to help you achieve the sleek, toned look you’ve been waiting for.
- CSUFit – Put your fitness through the entire fitness gamut. Endurance, power, strength, and will to overcome plateaus.
- AM Cardio Pump – Need a kick in the butt in the morning to get your day started? This class provides a highly active workout to help you start and end your week with a purpose.
- Cardio Sculpt – This is a class with primary focus on aerobic activity including resistance exercises to work on toning.
- Aqua Deep – Challenge your water workout by taking it to the deep end.
- Aqua Shallow – Get ready to take the plunge. This class will get your heart pumping while using the resistive properties of water to kick your cardio up a notch.
