1Ls – LexisNexis Registration

1Ls take note!  The registration information on the LexisNexis activation code sheet that was sent to you in July is no longer accurate.  LexisNexis has changed their portal and their registration process.  The correct information is on the C|M|Law Library 2012 Orientation Tech Essentials page.  Here’s what you need to do:

1. Connect to LexisNexis for Law Schools.
2. At the lower left, under “LexisNexis Registration,” click on the Register for Home Page button.
3. The Registration page should appear.  Follow the directions and prompts.  The system may initially view you as registering for “Summer Access,” but, after entering your anticipated graduation date, the system should fully recognize you.
4. After completing this process, the system will send you an email with instructions on how to register on Lexis Advance.  Please note that it may take up to 3 days for this email to arrive.
