Update on Law Library Research Certificate Seminars

image of laptop, book & writing tabletWe have had to change the day of the Getting Ready to Clerk Seminar.  Instead of Wednesday, it will be on Thursday, March 29th.  It will still be at 4pm-5pm, in Room LB60.  This Seminar is being co-sponsored by the Office of Career Planning, and refreshments will be served.

There are seats available for all five of the remaining Law Library Research Certificate Seminars – see the full list below.  Just contact Laura Ray, Instructional Services Librarian, to register for any of the Seminars.
Also, a reminder about Fastcase.  Fastcase is an alternative legal research system to LexisNexis and Westlaw, and many small to mid-size firms are using it.  The 2/15 Fastcase Webinar will be a good opportunity for you to get familiar with this system.

  • February 15th – Fastcase (vendor Webinar) – register by February 13th
  • February 22nd – Lexis Advance (vendor seminar) – register by February 20th
  • March 21st – LexisNexis/Westlaw Refresher – register by March 19th
  • 4pm-5pm, Thursday, March 29th, Room LB60 – Getting Ready to Clerk  – register by March 27th
  • April 4th – Ohio Legal Research for your Summer Associate Experience – register by April 2nd
