Call for Papers: Aging as a Feminist Concern

Emory University School of Law will be hosting a workshop on the topic of “Aging as a Feminist Concern” on January 21-22, 2010. The organizers are soliciting paper proposals on a wide range of topics including:

  • What are the implications of health care reform for older adults?
  • How does the law reinforce or enhance the vulnerability and marginalization of the elderly?
  • How should caretaking and caretakers of the elderly be approached by the government?
  • How should family responsibility be structured in old-age policy?

Interested scholars should submit paper proposals by October 1, 2010. Working paper drafts based on successful proposals will be due by January 3, 2011.
