Welcome Back Students and Faculty!

The law library staff would like to welcome back our returning students and faculty.   Just a reminder about some of our library services:

For students: Make an appointment with a librarian for an individual research consultation.   Let us know what you are working on and we can pull resources ahead of time.   Students can schedule a session by calling 216-687-6877, email or completing the Research Consultation form.   Of course, you can come into the library and ask the research librarians for help anytime.

Check out our student lounge, on the first floor of the library near the staircase.   There is a sink, refrigerator, microwave and comfortable furniture.

For faculty: The library staff can meet with you on a whole range of items from research assistant training to research guides tailored for your class.  Contact Amy Burchfield, Access and Faculty Services Librarian, at 687-6885 or amy.burchfield@law.csuohio.edu or fill out this electronic  form.

Coming Soon: The large hole in the wall next to the Law Library entrance will soon contain a digital information screen.  The screen will post hours, upcoming events and other news and information.    Also, watch this blog and your email for the upcoming Research Certificate Seminars.  Students can take extra research classes taught by the library staff, and earn a certificate, which can be included in your resume.    There will be upcoming training on the new WestlawNext system as well.
