This Just In: Best Friends at the Bar: What Women Need to Know about a Career in the Law

Summer Best Friends at the Bar coverreading time is here! When you have a spare minute, at the beach or elsewhere, check out Susan Smith Blakely’s Best Friends at the Bar: What Women Need to Know about a Career in the Law, available in room AO66 at KF299 .W6 B59 2009. This book strikes me as a little more in-depth and weighty than some written about women lawyers: it hits on all of the major opportunities and challenges facing women in the profession but doesn’t adopt an overly chatty been-there-done-that style. But at the same time, it doesn’t read like a casebook, so it qualifies as good summertime reading fare.
