National Library Week: Communities thrive @ your library

This week, April 11-17, libraries nationwide will take part in celebrating National Library Week, an event promoted by the American Library Association. This year’s theme is “Communities thrive @ your library.” The honorary chair of the 2010 festivities is Neil Gaiman, the New York Times bestselling author of The Graveyard Book, American Gods, Anansi Boys, The Sandman, Coraline and other works of imaginative fiction. Mr. Gaiman will speak about libraries and censorship on April 12; his talk will be available via live stream.
