March Madness Office Pools: I’m already sunk

So the NCAA tournament started last week and apparently people all over the country fill out these “brackets” to see how far teams will advance. It has also been brought to my attention that people at work have “office pools” and actually bet money on the tournament. I for one am shocked that this takes place. The first question I asked myself is if it is legal. This fine article from NPR does shed some light for all you heathens out there that partake in this madness of March. This fine article does not however shed any light on why Villanova choked in the second round. Thanks. This fine article also does not state that picking Kansas to win it all would be a bad choice. Thanks. Its always fun when you can throw your bracket away after the second round… I mean my friend’s bracket of course.  If you’re worried about the legality of your office pool, read the article. If you had Cornell advancing two rounds then board the first plane out to Vegas.
