New Asian AIDS Law Database

While reading through the Global Legal Monitor, the international current awareness service of the Law Library of Congress, I came across this announcement for a new database on AIDS law, focusing on Asia. Launched recently by Asia Catalyst, a grassroots organizer for human rights, social justice, and environmental protection work, Asian AIDS Law Database provides English-language information about HIV/AIDS-related statutes from countries in Asia. Researchers can access the database through drop-down menus for country, subject matter (such as confidentiality, privacy, women, etc.), and level of government. You can also skim the list of recently added laws as a way of keeping up-to-date in with legal developments in the area.
