Best Place to Start Your Foreign Law Research
Foreign law questions come up in regularly in many areas of legal practice – family law, immigration, tax, business, and environmental law to name just a few.
We offer you an excellent database to start your foreign law research. The Foreign Law Guide provides relevant and up-to-date information on foreign law, including citations to specific legislation by country, the existence of English-language translations, and select references to secondary sources.
You can use the Foreign Law Guide to locate specific laws of different countries, say the Civil Aviation Act from New Zealand or regulations on commercial secrets from Saudi Arabia. You can also browse laws by subject, giving you an easy way of researching for example laws on climate change in Latin American countries.
