Michael Anderson Talk/Webinar on COVID and Crisis Standards of Care
The C|M|LAW Center for Health Law and Policy and Health Law Society launches its Speaker Series with the 1/28/2022 “COVID and Crisis Standards of Care: Medical-Legal Implications” presentation by Michael Anderson, MD, MBA, FAAP, FCCM, FAARC. Dr. Anderson will review definitions, clinical roll out, and long term ethical and moral implications of the current use of “Crisis Standards of Care” and COVID. Dr. Anderson is a Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, a Senior Advisor at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC, and a nationally renowned expert in disaster response/health policy. The 12noon-1pm EST “COVID and Crisis Standards of Care: Medical-Legal Implications” presentation is open to the public, and will take place in the C|M|LAW Moot Court Room (register here) and via Zoom (register here).
