HeinOnline 101 – 30 Minute Webinar – December 10, 2pm EST

HeinOnline is an extremely useful database that includes a variety of resources. It can be accessed via the law library’s homepage under Quicklinks. They are offering a free online webinar entitled HeinOnline 101 on December 10 at 2pm EST.  Whether you are new to HeinOnline or need to brush up on your knowledge of our database, this brief webinar will feature the basics of HeinOnline including: accessing HeinOnline remotely,  browsing & searching documents,  leveraging various search options, full text, citation, catalog, and case law searches, how to download a specific document or specify custom page ranges to extract, refining & sorting search results based on topics, dates, organizations, and more.

Consider using Hein when searching for ‘older’ information, especially if you’re experiencing difficulty finding results on Westlaw and Lexis. One particularly useful database is the Law Journal Library, which contains thousands of law and law-related periodicals with comprehensive coverage from the start of each publication.
