Get Certified in Bloomberg Law

Bloomberg Law’s certification program is now available. There are three certifications available currently.   This is great practice using Bloomberg and certification is a great thing for your resume.

If you want to sign up and take the certification, simply click “Register Now” on the certification program you are interested in and then click “Access Your Classroom.”  Then simply click on “My Classroom” on the left-hand side menu bar to access the courses.

Bloomberg Law Certification: Introduction, Part 1

• Covers resources on landing page and searching using the <GO> bar.

Bloomberg Law Certification: Introduction, Part 2

• Covers court opinions, BCite, statutes, secondary sources and Boolean searching.

Bloomberg Law Certification: Transactional Law

• Understand the type of content found in the EDGAR Database.
• Recognize the value of DealMaker Documents and DealMaker Clauses.
• Learn how to use the Draft Analyzer to compare your draft language against real agreements and clauses; and
• Identify and locate secondary sources, forms and practice guides for Transactional practice.

Bloomberg Law is planning to roll out a litigation certification in the near future.
